Hydraulic Circuit Reading Course

This one-day course will acquaint the student with common hydraulic circuits and simplified hydraulic symbols in common use today. Participants will learn to represent actual hydraulic systems schematically, and read actual simple to complex circuits. It is generally agreed that person who troubleshoot using schematic get the machinery up and running 50% quicker than those who use the shotgun, part-swapping technique.

Who Should Attend:
This class is recommended for anyone responsible for the troubleshooting or repair of industrial hydraulic machinery. It is recommended that both the maintenance and engineering staff attend this session to enhance the communication when working on hydraulics.

Topics Covered:

  • Standard Fluid Power Symbols
    • Hydraulic vs. pneumatic symbols
    • Lines
