Voith IPH High-pressure Internal Gear Pump

The IPH design incorporates plain bearings and sealing gap compensation both radially and axially to produce a high-pressure gear pump that is quiet and efficient with a compact footprint and light weight. The IPH gear pump is capable of operating at a variety of speeds and using a wide viscosity range of hydraulic fluids and is suitable use in variable speed drives/variable volume flows.

The Voith Turbo H + L Hydraulic low noise hydraulic pumps offer quiet performance, compact design, and minimal pressure pulsations at high efficiencies. The involute geared IPV pumps are built on the internal gear design and include sealing gap compensation (radial & axial), providing consistently high pressures and good suction over a wide range of operating speeds. Can be used for variable speed drives and combined with other pumps to create combination pumps, multiple pumps systems, and motor-driven operation.

Voith IPVAP High-pressure Internal Gear Pump for Variable Speed Drives

Low noise and high volumetric efficiency are hallmarks of the Voith IPVAP internal gear pump, which is suitable for variable-speed drives. Hydraulic oil is drawn in between the pinion and internal gear as the gear rotates past the 180 degrees. As the internal gear rotates past the opposing 180 degree position, hydraulic fluid is displaced by pinion teeth ingress into the gear teeth spaces, thereby displacing the hydraulic oil.

Design Features:
  • Internal gear pump with radial and axial sealing gap compensation
  • Mounting: Any Mounting position: SAE hole flange, Line mounting, SAE suction and pressure flange
  • Right hand rotation
  • Input pressure: 0.8 - 3 bar absolute pressure
  • Pressure fluid: HLP mineral oils DIN 51524, part 2 or 3
  • Viscosity range of the pressure fluid:
    • 10…300 mm2s-1 (cSt)), up to n=1800 min-1
    • 10 ... 100 mm2s-1 (cSt), up to nmax
  • Permissible start viscosity: max. 2 000 mm2s-1 (cSt)
  • Permissible temperature of the pressure fluid: -20 ... + 80 °C
  • Required NAS 1638 purity of the pressure fluid: Class 19 / 17 / 14 (ISO 4406), Class 8 (NAS 1638)
  • Filtration quotient: min. β20 ≥ 75, recommended β10 ≥ 100 (longer life)
  • Permissible ambient temperature: -20 ... + 60 °C

Voith IPVS Internal Gear Pump (high-pressure)

High volumetric efficiency at low noise output are characteristics of the Voith IPVS gear pump. Pressure fluid is pulled into the cavity between the internal gear and pinion each time the gear rotates past 180. As the internal gear rotates past the opposing 180 degree position the hydraulic oil is displaced by pinion teeth filling gaps in the gear teeth and forcing the pressure fluid out. ​
